In addition, the CCI Award was newly created as part of our contribution to the project.
As a sponsor for the competition, we are honored to have the opportunity to help nurture young artists having the potential to inspire and shape the future of the art world.

The Geidai Art Plaza Art Awards is annually organized by Geidai Art Plaza, a gallery and shop jointly operated by Geidai and Shogakukan. It is open to all students of the university and is being held for the 19th time this year.
The judging panel convened on January 7, 2025, and after a rigorous evaluation by the judges, including Katsuhiko Hibino, President of Tokyo University of the Arts, and Michihiko Yanai, Professor at the Faculty of Fine Arts of the university and Director of Geidai Art Plaza, the award winners were determined.
The CCI Award was presented to Chen Yuan for his work ‘réalisation’.

The work employs the unique split-screen technique, capturing the same scene with different focal lengths and integrating these shots into a single unified image.
Katsumasa Kishioka, Director, Carta Communications Inc., comments as a judge:
“In modern society, it is necessary to view a single phenomenon from multiple angles, and even more so in digital marketing, which is our core business. The unified whole of this work resonates with aspects of business. It suggests something that is not superficial or cosmetic, but something that can only be seen through a long-term and multifaceted perspective. It also made me reflect on human relationships. These are the reasons for selecting Chen Yuan as the winner for the CCI Award.”
